My name is Patrice Revel, I'm originally French and have been living in Ireland since 2003.

I started to teach guitar full time in 2010 in Dublin from my own appartment and since then it's been my full time job.
I became the co-founder of Simply Music Lessons in 2015, a modern and vibrant music school in located in Dublin 2, in the heart of the city.

​

While still teaching there a couple of days a week, maintaining bonds with my long terms students, I decided to relocate in the charming, beautiful village of Mullagh with my family, and offer my guitar teaching services in the area.

 

I was born in the countryside, and it was time to get back to it. 

​

Having teaching up to 60 students on a weekly basis, in private and group formats, kids from 6 years old to retired people who wanted to take on a new hobby, I have faced a lot different personalities with different ways to learn, pace to learn, and different goals.

​

My aim has always been to get to know and care for my students as much as possible and make the process of learning the guitar as fun as possible.

​

Entering my fifties now, I'm not looking to teach the same amount as I used to. On a personal level, teaching only a handful of students in the Mullagh area and prioritise quality over quantity will be the way to go.
